I submitted 2 articles to 2 magazines and I am not so patiently waiting for a response. This is killing me.
Update: I got a submission requirement letter back from one magazine. As I nervously opened up the mail, my heart fell when I saw that letter. But, since I try to be optimistic I quickly decided that since I didn't ask for the submission guidelines (read: didn't send a SASE), they liked what I had to offer but didn't like how I pursued my request. That's okay. I will try again. I can be persuasive.
When did you send them in? Hopefully you will hear within a week or two.

I submitted one just the other day, so I know it'll be awhile before they get back to me. But, I submitted my first one probably a month ago :-/
